The David LaTourette House
Headed to LaTourette Park? Find out about the park's events and facilities at the LaTourette Park & Golf Course page.
The David LaTourette House is a federal-style brick mansion built in 1836 in the vicinity of where a British fort once stood. The house stands in the middle of the 540-acre LaTourette Park and today functions as the clubhouse for LaTourette Golf Course, a hilly 18-hole city-owned course that is open year round. In February, the Greenbelt Conservancy holds its annual Winter Carnival on the golf course grounds. The Carnival's winter activities and sleigh riding attract hundreds of children.
