Téada
Tuesday, March 11, 2025
7:00 p.m.–8:15 p.m.
Join the Noble Maritime Collection in welcoming Téada, or “strings,” Tuesday, March 11, 7:00 PM for the only New York City stop on their coast to coast U.S. tour! Founded in 2001 by Sligo fiddler Oisín Mac Diarmada and button accordion player Paul Finn, and joined today by Damien Stenson on flute, Seán Mc Elwain on guitar, and Tristan Rosenstock on bodhrán, Téada threads the raw, vibrant, individuality of solo artistry throughout the tapestry of a modern group context. Téada has headlined major music festivals in the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Africa, Russia, Israel and Australia and has been praised by the Irish Times as "keeping the traditional flag flying at full mast."
