Conservatory Family Exploration Day

Use your imagination to design your own greenhouse after learning all about how they work to preserve the diverse plant life that grows inside. Explore the Marco Polo Stufano Conservatory with new eyes, and take a look at how we mimic three types of “biomes” (regions of the world with similar climates, plants, and animals). Feel the differences in humidity and temperature from room to room. Then, adopt your very own plant and learn how to keep it healthy and happy at home!

Pick up a guide at the Family Art Project (10am to 1pm), Adopt-a-Plant Station (Sun 12-2pm) or at the Conservatory. Activities are drop-in and are intended for children and their adult companions.
