Concert: John Benitez and Evolution

Born and raised in Puerto Rico and long based in the Bronx, Grammy-winning bassist/composer/arranger John Benitez has led an accomplished career, working with major artists in a range of styles from Tito Puente, Eddie Palmieri and Batacumbele to Wynton Marsalis, Chucho Valdés and Roy Hargrove. For this concert he presents his exciting new ensemble, Evolution.
