Socrateens Group Exhibition: End of Year Reception

Join the 2024-2025 Socrateens as we celebrate our year!  Meet these future art workers and young champions of ecological stewardship! See their work! These NYC high-schoolers met weekly, expanding their understanding of artistic practice and process, with a focus on analog photography this time around. Their explorations of solar energy and sustainability in Summer 2024’s Socrateens Resilience Lab provided context for their projects this past Fall and Winter. For the winter session, teens worked with our partners WORTHLESSSTUDIOS and learned about analog photography, darkroom printing, and more.  The public is invited to the opening reception at the Park to view this culmination of their work. Light refreshments will be served.
