Citywide Nursery Gardening

Help our plants make their big move at Arthur Ross Citywide Nursery! Spring is on the horizon, and our plants are ready for a change of scenery. Volunteers will help transition plants from the polyhouse to the hoop houses, where they will continue to grow before being planted in NYC parks. Expect some lifting and bending, and be sure to wear mud-approved boots, as the nursery can be muddy and dusty. No experience is necessary—nursery staff will guide you through every step. This work is best suited for volunteers ages 13 and up. Space is limited, and registration is required.
