Roots & Shoots Open House: a Youth Leadership Program

You are invited y Roots & Shoots Open to join on Monday, October 14th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Idlewild Environmental Learning Center for our Roots and Shoots Open House Event! 

This is an opportunity for students ages 13-20 to earn community service credit and get involved in our environmental youth leadership program.

Here’s what we have planned: 

• Introduction to the Roots & Shoots Program: Learn about the program's history, mission, and successful past projects.
• Indigenous Peoples' Day Discussion: Engage in a group activity to explore environmental justice from an Indigenous perspective.
• Community Service Opportunity: Students will participate in a clean-up activity and receive a certificate for their contributions.
