AccessibilityThis playground, located next to the Fort Hamilton Athletic Field in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, offers a roomy and popular place for kids and adults to play. When entering the park at 84th Street, parents can turn right to find a wide variety of play equipment, including swings, slides, climbing equipment, a spray shower, and a boat-themed play area. Closer to 85th Street, older kids and adults can play handball and basketball on full-sized courts. This playground is named for a dedicated young park volunteer who lost his life while serving the United States Army in Vietnam.
