Capital Projects: Building NYC Parks
Whether you're looking to work with us, or you want to find out about a project near you, you can use our resources and tools to get started.
To make sure that our parks and facilities are green, welcoming, and fun we regularly work with communities to design and build new parks and upgrade existing public spaces across the city. Our capital projects can include parks and playgrounds, bike paths, sea walls, pools, boardwalks, athletic fields, and our wild natural areas.
Visit our Capital Projects Division page to learn more about our team responsible for projects across the city, including the three main phases of the capital process, how we solicit community input, and our different types of contracts.
