Minority/Women-Owned Business Opportunities

NYC Parks spent ~$5.7 billion on capital improvement over the past two decades. Over $1B has been registered to M/WBEs since 2015, and in Fiscal Year 2022 the agency had 45% M/WBE utilization. NYC Parks has created a centralized unit to focus on all aspects of Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) participation by increasing M/WBE participation on our Capital Construction and Consultant Contracts. Parks hosts many events throughout the year to promote networking opportunities with general contractors. NYC Parks encourages M/WBE firms to reach out to general contractors for potential subcontracting opportunities.
