Our Urban Park Rangers are well versed in outdoor lore. Learn tips and tricks that will enhance your knowledge of the natural world, and might just save your life. Whether you are preparing for an extended journey through the woods or just want to be more prepared for any situation, an wilderness outdoor skills program is perfect for you.
Join the Rangers as we show off the basics of a camping experience, without the overnight commitment! Rangers will demonstrate how to set-up a tent and start a fire. There will be a short group hike, followed by campfire stories… and of course, smores! All materials to be provided.
*This is a great introduction for those looking to camp in the future and IS NOT an overnight camping program.
