Whether you are preparing for an extended journey through the woods or just want to be more prepared for any situation, an wilderness outdoor skills program is perfect for you. Learn all about how to prepare and survive outdoors during the colder winter temperatures. Try your hand at making a friction fire and building shelters with tarps, knots, and natural materials.

Paerdegat Basin Park
Ecology Park is a five acre site set within Paerdegat Basin Park. The goal of the park is to promote habitat restoration and ecological improvement, highlighting fourteen native plant community types that exist or once existed in New York City.
