Grant Park, used by the students at nearby Public School 88, is a multi-use space renovated with funding from the mitigation of the Croton Filtration Plant.

Named for Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th President of the United States, Grant Park features a playground with a climbing area, a spray shower, swings, benches, and a large lawn, making the park a multi-use space for the entire community.

Grant Park may be best known as the home of the nearby Dred Scott Bird Sanctuary, a haven for birds that migrate each year.

This map is designed to represent parks as they are used by the public. It should not be used to represent the legal boundaries of property under Parks jurisdiction. If you would like to view all City property under the jurisdiction of NYC Parks, please visit NYC OpenData.
