NYC PARKS PREPARES KIDS FOR BACK TO SCHOOL SEASON WITH YOUTH TECH WORKSHOPS ALL WEEK

Youth Tech Workshops are free, drop-in Media Education sessions that encourage young New Yorkers to grow creatively and experience exciting careers that use technology. This program is designed to fall in the week between the end of summer camp and the start of school. Kids and teen learn filmmaking, audio production, animation, graphic design, and more!

These one-day workshops are focused on youth aged 3- 13, and will help them explore using cutting-edge, digital multimedia equipment and software. A full list of workshops is available on the NYC Parks website. Here are some of the highlights:

World's Fair Marina
Due to a major planned reconstruction project, Pier 1 at the World's Fair Marina is currently closed. Limited transient dockage is available for smaller recreational vessels - please contact the Dockmasters office at 718-478-0480 or VHF Ch71 for more information. There is no dockage available for larger vessels or commercial vessels, including passenger pick-up and drop-off. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please check back with the World's Fair Marina in the future for updates.
