The Department of Parks & Recreation will provide an attendant during official operating hours. Each participant will be required to sign a waiver (those under 18 will need their guardian's signature) before being allowed to use the facility.
Requirements for use:
- A signed liability waiver
- Helmet
- Knee pads
- Elbow pads
- Wristguards (for those under age 18 only)

Maloof Skate Park | Astral Fountain, adjacent to the New York State Pavilion. (Follow signs off the highways to the Queens Theatre in the Park) | (718) 760-6565 | Dawn to dusk | This 16,000 square-foot skate park, built over the Astral fountain, was funded by the Maloof Brothers for the 2010 Maloof Money Cup skateboarding competition which they later donated to Parks. It was designed by pro-skateboarders and features elements from the most popular skate parks throughout NYC including Chrystie Park and Brooklyn Banks. There are multiple stairs and rails of varying lengths as well as ledges, pyramids and banks. | This skate park is unsupervised. Scooters and inline skates are permitted. BMX bicycles are prohibited. |
