George U. Harvey Playground is known locally as a hidden gem and a place to avoid the crowds while staying active and getting out into nature. With an array of recreational activities, including a popular hockey rink, this park is also perfect for local sports teams in the Whitestone community. The playground honors George Upton Harvey, a longtime Queens Borough President, but a tribute to a different Harvey can also be found in the park. Or don't you see the large white rabbit?
