Flag Football

Come learn, play and compete in the 2024 Flag Football Season. NYC Parks is hosting clinics, leagues, and tournaments for girls and boys. The NYC Parks Instructional Clinics begin in July and run through August, focusing on drills and strategies. The NYC Parks Flag Football League begins in September and runs through November and will feature league play and championships.

Program Dates

Clinics/Practices: July 8 - September 11, 2024
Borough Season: September 12 - November 3, 2024
Citywide Playoffs and Championships: November 9 - 16, 2024 (Rain date: November 23, 2024)

Divisions:

This is a 5 v 5 official NFL FLAG non-contact, version of flag football. Each roster may hold 10 players and a maximum of two coaches.

• 8U Coed* - 2016 Birthyear or younger
• 10U Coed* - 2014 Birthyear or younger
• 12U Coed* - 2012 Birthyear or younger
• 14U Boys - 2010 Birthyear or younger
• 14U Girls - 2010 Birthyear or younger 
• 17U Boys - 2007 Birthyear or younger
• 17U Girls - 2007 Birthyear or younger

*Coed divisions can consist of all boys, all girls, or a mix of both.
