Through TechOpps, you can develop industry-standard skills in a variety of programs. Receive your certification and get the tools you need to apply for work with confidence. Learn how to masterfully edit photos in Photoshop, or create a professional looking portfolio using InDesign! Create and format spreadsheets using formulas and make professional decks using PowerPoint!

Types of Classes

We offer classes for adults and young adults who are looking for training and certification in Microsoft Office and Adobe programs. Learn more about each of our training programs below.

Microsoft Office Specialist

Learn Word, PowerPoint, and/or Excel in this intensive 6-8 week course! Once the class is complete, you can pass one test for free through the company, Certiport. Our NYC Parks media labs are registered testing centers. Once you take the test and pass, you will be a Microsoft Office Specialist.

Adobe Certified Associate

Classes teach industry-standard media making tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere. Once the class is complete, you can pass one test for free through the company, Certiport. Our NYC Parks media labs are registered testing centers. Once you take the test and pass, you will be an Adobe Certified Associate.
