This triangle is sometimes known as "One Tree Park" for its littleleaf linden tree, surrounded by a group of attractive plantings. The tree is said to be the first to come alive in the springtime. It is named for Samuel Marx, an auctioneer who was elected to Congress, but died before he could take office.
