Harlem's Martin Luther King Jr. Playground is a state-of-the-art playground that has become the centerpiece of the neighborhood. The playground features play areas for a wide range of ages, a synthetic turf lawn for relaxation, two full-size basketball courts, and high-quality outdoor fitness equipment. The distinctive frog and lily pad shaped spray shower provides relief on hot days, and behind the scenes, rain gardens and pavers help capture stormwater to keep the park fresh.
