This large park, named for prominent sculptor Hermon A. MacNeil, is located at the point in College Point, Queens. From this quiet hidden gem in a residential neighborhood, you can run, walk, or bike along the promenade, or sit and watch planes fly low overhead on their way to or from the nearby La Guardia Airport. A boat launch in the park lets residents paddle out to College Point Reef and explore the East River and Flushing Bay. Locals also enjoy the old-growth trees and shady pathways, the softball field, and the children's playground located mid-park.
