This traffic triangle at the intersection of Bedford Avenue, Rogers Avenue, and Dean Street is the site of a landscaped garden and the Ulysses S. Grant equestrian statue. This large bronze statue was unveiled on April 27, 1896, the 74th anniversary of the birth of the famed 18th president and Civil War general, who is revered for his decisive action in bringing about the end of the Civil War.
