Pin oakMemorial Drive, from Jackson Pond Playground to Forest Park Drive

This row of pin oaks located on Forest Park Drive, north of Park Lane South was planted in 1919 in the names of young soldiers from Woodhaven how lost their lives in World War I. Families used to gather at this location and decorate their loved one's tree for Memorial Day. The Woodhaven Cultural & Historical Society revived the tradition in 2015 and have been decorating the trees with flags and ribbons every year since.
