Violin Concert with Ariel Horowitz
Join NYC Parks and Concert Art Guild (CAG) in a co-presentation of violinist and
composer Ariel Horowitz. Hailed as "sweetly lyrical" by The Washington Post, she will
perform original compositions, poetry, and songs from her debut album Hearth and
works from the classical music tradition. Ariel states she cannot remember life before
loving music and brings equal commitment to community organizing as Founder and
Artistic Director of Heartbeat Music Project (HMP), a tuition-free program offering
music and Navajo (Diné) cultural education to young people in grades K-12 living on
the Navajo Nation.
