Join on Saturday, April 26, at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park for our Earth Day Celebration! From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, enjoy a variety of fun and educational activities led by community partners and the Conservancy’s Environmental Education Center. Highlights include:
- E-Waste Collection: Responsibly dispose of electronic waste at the collection point hosted by the Lower East Side Ecology Center (starts at 10:00 AM; rain or shine).
- Eco-Art Project: Contribute to a community art installation by upcycling plastic pollution collected from our park's shorelines.
- Interactive Exhibits: Engage with organizations like Earth Matters and Climate Families NYC to learn about environmental initiatives.
- Live Performance: Enjoy eco-themed entertainment by Hila the Earth.
Looking for more? Join our walk-up Coastal Cleanup at Pier 4 Beach from 1-3 PM, or take part in cataloguing wildlife as part of City Nature Challenge Bioblitz throughout the weekend.
