Directions via Google Maps

This attractive and ornate city plaza located just beyond the entrance to the Staten Island Ferry terminal makes a wonderful port of call for any weary traveler making their way across New York harbor. A row of benches are located underneath old-growth shade-providing trees. In the middle of the triangle is a monument to Major Clarence Tynan Barrett a member of a prominent Staten Island family who distinguished himself through careers in landscape architecture, sanitation engineering, and as a veteran of the Civil War.
