Tompkinsville Park

Bay St., Victory Blvd.

Staten Island

Directions via Google Maps

Since its founding in the 1930s, Tompkinsville Park has become an integral part of its community's landscape in Staten Island. This civic plaza is the heart of the neighborhood of Tompkinsville, and the park is often bustling with commuters and passersby. A fountain built in 2008 acts as the centerpiece of the park, and accessible benches, water fountains, and public bathrooms assist needy travelers. The park's most notable feature is The Hiker, a statue sculpted by Allen G. Newman that honors the local soldiers of the Spanish-American War.

This map is designed to represent parks as they are used by the public. It should not be used to represent the legal boundaries of property under Parks jurisdiction. If you would like to view all City property under the jurisdiction of NYC Parks, please visit NYC OpenData.
