Get access to cardio and weight training equipment, free fitness classes, indoor pools, free adult sports leagues, and more by becoming an NYC Parks Recreation Center member.
At our indoor pools, you can join lap swim, water exercise classes, aquatic sports (like water polo), family swim, adaptive swim, Learn to Swim classes, and more!
Train and work out where VIP NYC Marathoners warm-up for the big race! Our nationally-recognized sports facility features an indoor track with stadium seating and workout equipment.

Spotlight Programs
Through our Shape Up NYC program, we offer free fitness and dance classes at recreation centers, libraries, and community centers throughout NYC.
Kids an teens ages 11 to 18 are welcome to join free classes with an experienced, competitive synchronized swimmer.
Boys and girls ages 8 to 17 are invited to join our free league to learn how to play, and compete with peers.
Adaptive Recreation Centers and Programs
Our Adaptive Hubs are accessible recreation centers where you can work out on adapted gym equipment and join programs that have been modified for people with disabilities.
Is exercise difficult for you? Our adaptive swim program offers a gentle workout with modified exercise routines. This program takes place year-round and is open to all ages and abilities.
