Virtual Video Tour
After the close of the Fair in 1965, the site was transformed into the park we know today, a favorite destination for millions of visitors. A large and diverse population uses the park each day for soccer and barbecuing, world-renowned art and professional sports teams, championship tennis, a row on the lake or a bike ride.
This interactive map shows some of the sites that have endured the test of time since 1939 and 1964 World’s Fairs and remain in the park today. Click on the markers to experience memories evoked by these objects, structures and buildings.
