Bodyweight Interval Training is an energetic yet low impact exercise class that will get your muscles moving! This mix of cardio and body weight strength exercises is a great way to get a full body workout. Whether you're new to exercise or not, the modifications offered in this class make it open to all fitness levels. Come check it out! Please bring your own yoga mat!

This 30-minute low-impact full-body dynamic warm-up class is designed for all ages and fitness levels, focusing on injury prevention and optimal performance. Participants will engage in controlled, dynamic movements that prime each muscle group, gradually raising the body’s temperature to enhance flexibility, mobility, and activation. By targeting key muscle groups one at a time, the class prepares the body for physical activity, improving coordination, balance, and overall body awareness. Whether preparing for a workout or daily activities, this class ensures participants perform at their best while minimizing the risk of injury.

In a SharQui class, you’ll learn new moves and combinations in flow. You’ll gradually build up to more complex movements starting with the very basics! If you can walk in place, you can belly dance with SharQui. This class is taught to music with easy-to-follow steps that will surely get your heart pumping!

McCarren Play Center

Join us as NYC Parks partners with NYPD, DYCD,
DOE, and NYC’s five District Attorney’s Offices to extend the hours
of recreation centers on Saturday nights for youth and teens! The
following activities can be expected during Saturday Night Lights at
McCarren Play Center: basketball and access to the fitness and cardio rooms.
