Urban Park Service

The Urban Park Service vow to “Preserve and Protect” our parks' most precious resources.

Urban Park Service is a division of New York City Parks & Recreation made up of Parks Enforcement Patrol and Central Communications. Each consists of dedicated “Parkies” who preserve and protect our parks and public spaces by enforcing our rules & regulations, educating the public, advocating conservation, making our parks and public spaces clean and safe for all, and responding to the needs of our patrons.
