New York City's parks hosts thousands of sporting events every year. In order to reserve an NYC Parks athletic field or court, organized leagues or individuals must request a permit. Apply online using our Field and Court Requests system.

Updated Athletic Permit Rules & Fees
Our athletic permit rules and hourly fees have changed as of November 1, 2024. For more information, visit our updated Fee Schedules and Ballfield and Athletic Court rules pages.

If you suspect that a field or court is being mis-used, or that a permit is being regularly unused, please visit 311 to report a violation of park rules. You can select “Obstructing Public Use” from the Details section, and then “Court/Field/Rink” from the additional details section.
