Album Description:

The Urban Park Rangers help all New Yorkers discover New York City Outdoors. In addition to their regular duties, Rangers lead hundreds of events each year, including hikes, canoe outings, birding tours and more. On July 30, 2011, our Rangers led an archery class at the Van Cortlandt Nature Center. They demonstrated the safe and proper way to draw a bow and shoot an arrow, helping connect New Yorkers with a new lifelong skill.
