On Monday, April 22 Brooklyn Parks Commissioner Kevin Jeffrey joined Council Member Sara González and students from P.S. 169 to celebrate Earth Day and cut the ribbon on a newly renovated synthetic turf field and refurbished public bathroom in Sunset Park. The new multi-purpose turf allows park users to enjoy the field for numerous activities year roung and newly installed lights ensure lighted play for later hours.
