On April 6, 2013 NYC Parks joined elected officials, community leaders and the North Riverdale Little League in a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the renovated Sid Augarten Ballfield in Vinmont Veteran Park. The event kicked off with a parade featuring the Little League and ended with the teams playing their first game of the season.
