On April 11, 2013 New York Knicks City Dancers and former players John Starks and Larry Johnson joined Million Trees NYC to plant trees in Van Cortlandt Park as part of their "Trees for Threes" program. The program, in it's first year, plants a tree for every three pointer the Knicks make at home games throughout the season. Together with dozens of volunteers 1,200 new trees were planted.
