Album Description:

On July 26, 2006, NYC Parks cut the ribbon on a new synthetic turf ballfield at Haffen Park in the Bronx. This field was the first completed project made possible by the Croton Filtration Plant Mitigation Funds, which funded dozens of new park construction projects in the Bronx. The synthetic turf field makes Haffen Park even more a destination for active recreation, and at this ceremony, local baseball and soccer teams were on hand to celebrate.
