On November 2, 2007, NYC Parks cut the ribbon on $740,000 in improvements to Brooklyn's Fraser Square. This former barren traffic circle is now a public space with amenities and a lush canopy of trees and gardens. To celebrate this occasion, and to honor World War I hero and park namesake John Justin Fraser, members of the Kings County American Legion Color Guard joined local elected officials at the ceremony.
