On January 13, 2010, Parks Photographer Daniel Avila visited the synthetic turf multipurpose field at Bushwick Inlet Park. This field marked the completion of the first phase of development of this 28-acre waterfront park. This former car rental storage lot is now a haven for active recreation in the Greenpoint-Williamsburg neighborhood. The remainder of the park will continue to be built in further phases in accordance with its award-winning design.
