On July 13, park goers and music lovers flooded the Great Lawn in Central Park for the 2013 MLB All-Star Charity Concert benefiting Sandy relief. The New York Philharmonic, led by Alan Gilbert, performed New York and baseball themed music with special guest appearance by Mariah Carey who performed a selection of her classic hits mixed with newer tracks.
