NYC Parks Cuts The Ribbon At The Legendary West 4th Street Basketball Court

On Tuesday, October 20, 2015, NYC Parks Commissioner Mitchell J. Silver, FAICP, joined the New York Knicks and their partner Chase, to celebrate the newly renovated West 4th Street basketball court. Improvements to the famed basketball ground widely known as “The Cage,” include court resurfacing and painting, as well as a donation of new backboards, rims, nets, and branded pole pads, all in Knicks colors.
