Sumner Playground is one of the more exciting small parks in central Brooklyn, with amenities for Bedford-Stuyvesant families and kids of all ages. Most notable, this playground is home to the first "skybox" in New York City parks, an area with barstool-style seating, where you can sit out and look out onto the playground or the natural turf ballfield. The playground also contains equipment and swings for tots and kids, an outdoor gym for adults, and a plaza area with plenty of shade.
