Skate Parks

The Department of Parks & Recreation will provide an attendant during official operating hours. Each participant will be required to sign a waiver (those under 18 will need their guardian's signature) before being allowed to use the facility.

Requirements for use:

A signed liability waiver
Helmet
Knee pads
Elbow pads
Wristguards (for those under age 18 only)

River Avenue Skate Park	East 157th Street and River Avenue		6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.	Designed closely with the skateboard community, this 10,000 square-foot concrete skate park features stairs, rails, ledges, benches, banks, gaps, and transitioned elements in a plaza setting. River Avenue is one of the City’s first skate parks to use traditional New York City Parks materials and references elements from the the city’s past and present.	This is an unsupervised skate park. BMX bikes, scooters, and inline skates are permitted in addition to skateboards.
