A popular park in the growing Long Island City neighborhood, Murray Playground is home to soccer leagues, happy pups, outdoor theatre troupes, and many laughing children. The park features a large synthetic turf field used for soccer and bat sports to the west, and an active dog run and lawn with a performance area at its eastern entrance. In the center of the park, you can find a bright area for chidlren to play, with swings, a clubhouse, and a leaf-shaped spray shower for the hot summer months.

The dog run at Murray Playground is closed to the public until further notice. Dog owners are encouraged to visit the nearest dog run, located at Gantry Plaza State Park.
