Kaiser Park, with its northwestern corner nestled on Coney Island, is the perfect combination of beach fun, beauty and functionality.

Want the perks of a beach? Head to the pier, toss a line, and see what fish are biting today. Or, if it's just the beauty you want, stare at the sun setting behind the distant Verrazano-Narrows Bridge or go to the Gravesend Bay side of the park for a glimpse of magnificent migrating birds.

After all that relaxing, lace up your sneakers and jog a lap around the track, or meet some friends at the soccer, football, or baseball fields. Finally, end your day with a barbeque at one of the 20 grills within the park.
