Mondello Triangle is a small plaza located just northwest of McKinley Park. It is named after P.F.C. Anthony Mondello, who was killed in action while serving in the Air Force during World War II. A memorial to P.F.C. Mondello and other fallen soldiers stands in the middle of the square.
