Coloful and active, Bushwick Playground brings a jolt of energy and fun to the surrounding neighborhood. The playground features equipment for toddlers and pre-teens, as well as benches and an adult sitting area. To encourage many different types of physical fitness, there is a new exercise area with equipment for pull-ups, sit-ups and stretching.

The playground also features a synthetic turf field with space for softball, soccer and volleyball. The field is named for Barry 'Sly' Morrow, founder of the Bushwick Football League and someone who saw sports as a way to alleviate urban blight and help people move on and up.
