Bridge Playground

This inventive and creative playspace, redesigned in 2022, brings the thrill of adventure to children in the Bronx. The playground features creative unstructured play equipment designed to engage the imaginations of children. These play pieces are connected across safety surface meant to call across the feelings of islands and streams. The playground also features an area for tots, as well as fitness equipment and a basketball court for teens and adults.

Bridge Playground takes its name from the adjacent Washington Bridge and the Alexander Hamilton Bridge, both of which cross the river a short distance to the west and connect Manhattan to the Bronx.
