AccessibilityThis playground located on the Rockaway peninsula serves as an an excellent play space for the school children of P.S. 42 and neighborhood children of all ages. First opened in 1965, a 2021 renovation brought a more inclusive play area, an outdoor classroom, spray showers, an adult fitness area, basketball and handball courts, shaded seating areas, and more.
