A quiet natural space in the industrial section of Sunset Park, Bush Terminal Piers Park is a lovely waterfront park with spectacular views of the area’s tidal pools and the Bay Ridge Channel. This site, once a port complex, was cleaned up and opened as a public park in 2014.

The park is open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Visitors to the park can enter at 43rd Street, and walk along the waterfront esplanade past the tide ponds and restored wetlands. Visitors will find two multi-purpose soccer and baseball fields as well as a nature preserve that allows a fun glimpse into Brooklyn’s wild side.

This map is designed to represent parks as they are used by the public. It should not be used to represent the legal boundaries of property under Parks jurisdiction. If you would like to view all City property under the jurisdiction of NYC Parks, please visit NYC OpenData.
